Declaration of a Freeman Puzzle

The Declaration of a Freeman of the City of London is read aloud by everyone who is admitted as a Freeman in an ancient ceremony held in Guildhall in the City of London. The Declaration remains essentially unchanged through the centuries and the earliest extant copy of the Freedom dates from 1237AD.

This 40 piece laser-cut wooden jigsaw features an image of the Declaration of a Freeman that hangs in Guildhall immediately adjacent to the Chamberlain's Court where prospective Freemen wait before being called into the Court room for their admission ceremony.

The puzzle is made from sustainable woodland sources, laser-cut in the United Kingdom and packaged in a sturdy box made from recyclable materials. The jigsaw pieces include a number of unusual shaped 'whimsies', that reflect the history of London.
